Mission
PolyStrategies exists to help organizations navigate complexity with clarity, resilience, and creativity. I believe strategy is most powerful when it solves today’s problems and prepares people and systems to thrive into the future.
Who I am
A strategist with a background spanning science, economics, and business. I began in biochemistry and research, later expanded into international business economics and management, and worked in the biotech startup world helping bridge research and market applications. Along the way, I developed a passion for systems thinking, seeing patterns, connections, and leverage points that can transform how challenges are approached.
What Makes Me Different
Rather than applying off-the-shelf frameworks, I've developed my own approaches to strategy, such as the Inverted Tree and Decision Point Analysis. These tools are designed to bring clarity to complex problems, uncover hidden options, and strengthen decisions under uncertainty. My approach blends:
Scientific rigor: I take a critical, analytical approach to problem solving. I don’t fall for fluff or empty platitudes — I rely on logic, reason, and evidence.
Multi-disciplinary systems thinking: My background spans several domains, and I bring lessons from one arena to another. I pride myself on making connections that those with siloed experience wouldn’t. Many problems remain unsolved simply because they’ve been defined too narrowly — I re-frame challenges so new solutions become visible.
Practical resilience & adaptability: I don’t just design strategies in theory — I ensure they can withstand pressure and adapt as conditions change. My focus is always on solutions that work in the realities they exist within.
At PolyStrategies, this blend of rigor, systems perspective, and adaptability drives strategies that are both innovative and durable.
